Mechanical Engineer - SolidWorks

The process starts with drawing up the program of requirements in consultation with the client. Based on this, you develop the complete design of the mobile Healthcare unit in a team, fully set up and worked out in a 3D model (SolidWorks). You are involved from the design, sketch design, to the final design.

During this process, you are co-responsible for the elaboration and charged with making the necessary drawings for production. You ensure clear communication with internal and external parties, process feedback and continuously improve processes. You order project-specific components and ensure the transfer to production. You monitor the progress of the production process and report improvements back to the team. In this way, we achieve the best end result together.

Your tasks:

• Developing a design in SolidWorks.
• Work preparation, including ordering materials.
• Collaborate with the R&D department to develop innovative solutions.
• Evaluate and implement customer and production feedback to improve designs.

• You are ready for a new, challenging step in your career.
• You have completed an MBO+ or HBO education, preferably in Mechanical Engineering.
• You have experience with SolidWorks or a similar 3D drawing program.
• You have good communication skills and are flexible.
• You work in a solution-oriented manner and have a hands-on mentality.

About our client

Our client builds expandable trailers and containers. As an Engineer you are a member of their team, which is responsible for the entire process from design to realization of these medical containers or trailers.

40 hours per week.

Negotiable and based on experience.
